  • Head to the Kimmel Center for the 2016 Marian Anderson Award ceremony honoring Patti LaBelle and Gamble & Huff. This is an important ceremony honoring popular world music.

Wednesday, November 16th

  • If you were a fan of Center City Sips, you won’t want to miss Cocktails and Cold Ones in the Cabin. This Wednesday, in the Rothman Institute Orthopaedics Cabin there will be special winter themed drink and food specials.

Thursday, November 17th

  • Check out Elle King at the Fillmore as she continues her Ministry Tour. It’s a night of rock and roll you won’t want to miss!
  • Attend the return of The Fairmount Food Fight to celebrate the Fairmount neighborhood with delicious bites from some of the neighborhood’s best restaurants and an exciting raffle.

Friday, November 18th

  • Join two of Philadelphia’s greatest dance institutions at the Kimmel Center this weekend for Straight Outta Philly. Philadanco and the Rennie Harris Pure movement will combine hip-hop and ballet for a truly, unique performance.
  • Take the trip to Peddler’s Village for their Grand Illumination Celebration. Multi-color holiday lights will line the streets along with holiday displays. After the show, you can enjoy hot cocoa next to a bonfire featuring local musicians.

Saturday, November 19th

  • It’s the first Made in Philly Holiday Market at Dilworth Park. The market will showcase local artists, crafts, and designers with holiday foods and drinks.
  • Lace up your shoes because it is the weekend of the Philadelphia Marathon. Races will be happening all week along with events to get runners stoked for their events. There will also be family-fun contests lasting through the weekend.
  • Get into the holiday season at the Franklin Flea Holiday Market. This special holiday-themed market only runs a few times each year and will sell vintage and antique items that make for unique and original gifts.

Sunday, November 20th

  • Make your pilgrimage down to Schmidt’s Commons for the 3rd annual Turkey Day Tailgate! Join Phan Cave* and Philly PR Girl for a premiere tailgating experience with a turkey cook-off featuring celebrity judges, fall brews and tailgating games. Get your tickets now! 
  • Skate around the Rothman Rink in Dilworth Park while listening to the first Symphony Sunday of the year. Nothing will get you more in the holiday spirit than ice skating and holiday music.
  • Get ready for an amazing show because Stevie Nicks is in Philly. The Pretenders will join her on stage to give you a performance that is unlike others you have seen.
