Monday, October 10th

  • Take a walk through the beautiful Rittenhouse Square during the Rittenhouse Stroll event! Enjoy a beautiful, fall night in the city with amazing craft beer, cocktail and food specials.
  • Head to the Mütter Museum of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia to celebrate Leonardo da Vinci and to see the works of one the most creative minds to have ever lived.

 

Tuesday, October 11th

  • Hit the streets running with Shack Track and Field this Tuesday (the second Tuesday of every month). The runs are open to all ages and abilities, and each attendee will receive a free drink from Shake Shack after the run
  • Join John Malcolm of the Heritage Foundation and Ian Millhiser of the Center for American Progress at the Constitutional Stakes to examine the presidential candidates interpretation of the Constitution. Through analytical discussion, the program will see where Trump and Hillary stand on the most important constitutional questions America faces today.

 

Wednesday, October 12th

  • Celebrate fall at the Oktoberfest at Dilworth Park starting Wednesday and running through Sunday, October 16th. Dilworth Park Café will feature a German-inspired menu and there will be live music and DJs all week.
  • Attend the Opening Reception of an exhibition of visual arts by faculty from Temple University’s study abroad program in Rome, Italy. The event will feature works in sculpture, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and video.

 

Thursday, October 13th

  • Enjoy a delicious and informative wine tasting at Chloe Johnston’s* first-ever The Painted Grape event. The event will take place at the Pentimenti Gallery where guests will sample a variety of artisanal cheeses, light hors d’oeuvres and wine while learning about the relationship between art and wine through a historic and culinary lens.  
  • Dine for a cause to benefit the Clean Air Council at the Dine Out for the Environment event this Thursday. The fundraising event will offer guests amazing meals at several of the Philadelphia area’s most sustainable restaurants.
  • Head to Chinatown for the Chinatown Night Market Yè Shì. There will be an endless amount of food, arts & crafts, and entertainment that will give guests a unique inside look at this incredible cultural neighborhood.

 

Friday, October 14th

  • Join InLiquid and Park Towne Place for an evening of cocktails and conversation in select penthouse apartments of the East Tower at Park Towne Place Museum District Residences. Running together with DesignPhiladelphia, local artists, designers, and jewelers will have installations in spaces throughout the 18th floor and items will be on display and purchasable.
  • Make your way to Bethlehem this weekend for the Runner’s World Half & Festival. All weekend the festival will host several races through the beautiful city o f Bethlehem as well as live music, seminars, and games for children.

 

Saturday, October 15th

  • Travel back in time at the spooky Murder At The Moulin Dinner at West Laurel Hill.* Guests will experience an interactive Murder Mystery set in 1920s Paris. The evening will include a cocktail hour, refreshments and a live show.
  • Mark your calendars for South Street’s Bloktoberfest event happening in Graduate Hospital this Sunday. Walk around South Street and enjoy food, craft beer and live music all afternoon long.
  • The Cheesesteak and Food Festival is back for a second year with samples of signature cheesesteaks, hoagies and roast pork from Philly’s best spots. There will also be a cheesesteak eating contest, entertainment and a craft beer garden.
  • Don’t miss the start of Philadelphia magazine’s* Design Home event. This is the first time in thirteen years that Design Home is in Philly and it’s back to exhibit the latest trends in the market!

 

Sunday, October 16th

  • Bring your pups to Morgan’s Pier for Yappy Hours this Sunday from 2 – 6 p.m. The night will be filled with drink specials and entertainment including audience-judged dog competitions. Proceeds from the yappy hour deals will also go to the Pennsylvania SPCA   
  • Bikes and Beers Philadelphia is back in Philly for their third annual event, featuring a 15 mile and a 40 mile ride departing from Yards Brewing Company and traveling through the beautiful city of Philadelphia. The rides will feature a half-way rest stop and riders will receive two free pints when returning to Yards.
