Monday, September 12th  

  • Support Cradles to Crayons, a West Conshohocken based non-profit, this Monday at the Conshohocken Restaurant Week Preview Party. Guests can enjoy bites from local restaurants and beer from the Conshohocken Brewing Company.  
  • Check out the Rain Check workshop to learn how you can get a free rain barrel from Philadelphia Water. There will also be reduced pricing at the workshop for downspout planters, rain gardens, depaving, and permeable pavers.

 

Tuesday, September 13th

Thursday, September 15th

  • Head to The Piazza at Schmidt’s Commons for a 15th Anniversary viewing of Zoolander. Share a night of laughs with friends while enjoying amazing bites and drinks!
  • Jonathan F. P. Rose, the innovative real estate developer, is in Philly to launch his new book, The Well-Tempered City.  He will offer insights into his research to redevelop neighborhoods and cities around the country.

 

Friday, September 16th

  • The nation’s oldest outdoor art show, the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show, is back for its 89th year. See the work of over 100 artists from all over North America.

  • This week Parks on Tap traveling beer garden will host their event at the beautiful Mount Pleasant Mansion. Enjoy family-friendly events, a large selection of craft beers and wine while touring the breathtaking estate.
  • Calling all foodies: the Chester County Library in Exton, PA is hosting a Food Truck Festival! The event is free to attend and will feature some of the best eats in the area, as well as live music.

 

Saturday, September 17th

  • Calling all dogs and dog lovers, the West Laurel Hill* signature pet event, Woof and Wag, is back for another year! Join West Laurel Hill & Pals For Life for a morning of entertainment for pets and parents alike!
  • The Rock ‘n’ Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon & 5K attracts more athletes each year than any other running event. In its 39th years, expect runners and spectators who will want to enjoy the entertainment and excitement of the event.
  • Kick off the fall season at Brauhaus Schmitz for their Oktoberfest event with great food and even better beer! There will also be a week of German-inspired events before their epic block party on South Street this Saturday.
  • Fishtown’s busy beer garden, Frankford Hall, teams up with neighbor Fette Sau for their Oktoberfest event, including a fantastic day of beer and classic German fare, including Bavarian pretzels, frankfurters, bratwurst and more.
  • Celebrate the 2016 harvest at the Harvest Fest Chaddsford Winery for interactive tastings, food, tours and live music.
  • Meet the cast of General Hospital this Saturday at Up Close & Personal with General Hospital presented by the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. You’ll get the chance to ask them questions and get photo ops and autographs!
