Beyoncé Formation World Tour: Philadelphia

Beyonce- Formation

It seems like everyone was at the Beyoncé concert last night, and that includes Philly PR Girl’s team! Past and present team members watched as Beyoncé slayed thousands at Lincoln Financial Field. While the whole show was a monumental experience, our team share their favorite parts, and trust us it was not an easy decision to make!

Victoria: image1The elements of the earth seemed to align as Beyoncé was coming to Lincoln Financial Field. Parting the storm clouds in the sky, Queen Bey reigned the stage for thousands of fans well into the night. There was water incorporated into her choreography. There were majestic flames and fireworks. And with extended clips from Lemonade, mashups between two decades’ worth of hits, and a powerful Prince tribute, she kept us all enthralled the entire night.

Brandon: She hushed the wild crowds at a more serious moment in the show and said, “This is a song about the most important relationship in your life….and that relationship is with yourself.” She proceeded to sing “Me, myself, and I.” It was at that point that I probably stood in complete awe, as my body transcended to a place I never thought I could go. Concert-goers euphoria they call it. But whatever it was….I was able to have a moment with myself, and what a beautiful one it was.

IMG_0417Brandi:I always thought Beyoncé was a unicorn, who else can end a storm at their own concert? Hands down my favorite part about last night were the Queen’s wardrobe changes- of course along with the intense performance! Her custom made Victorian-Inspired Balmain bodysuit was a winner for me! The floral motif, the french lace and glass beads, crystals, pearls were AMAZING!!! I think I found my future wedding dress!

image2India: The concert was amazing, my favorite part had to be the energy shared throughout the entire stadium. I was sitting in the highest level and I could feel the screams from the bottom field. Her water incorporated performance made me wish I was that close just to say Beyoncé had kicked water in my face. From classic throw backs to her most recent hits, it was a concert for the books, Bey can do no wrong

Stacey: Okay, so the show was amazing for a lack of better words. Hit after hit Bey slayed and I cheered right amongst the hive. How can one have only one favorite image1 (1)part?!Her performance of 1 + 1. She sang it on a dark stage, no dancers – just her and us (thousands) with so much passion. You could feel the love. The footage and home videos. Many of those visuals Bey fans have seen already but for newbies like me it was heartwarming. Lastly, she performed End of Time – a favorite of mine – in a small pool of water. Splashing and dancing before ending the show.

As Brandon said, “Slay. See you in September.”
