Monday, February 22

Wednesday, February 24

  • Philadelphia Museum of Art is having an International Pop exhibition at 3 p.m. The exhibit presents pop art from America, Britain, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Japan, and many other countries! The Philadelphia Museum of Art is the only venue on the East Coast that will have this exhibition, so you don’t want to miss it!
  • See the Tony Award-winning musical Pippin right here in Philadelphia at the Kimmel Center! You’ll be in awe at the acrobats and performance in this circus themed story of maturity and peace. Listen to the songs by Stephen Schwartz, the composer of Wicked, until February 28.

 

Thursday, February 25

  • Students in the Philly area are going to love this event. Cross Properties Management and Good Food Flats* are hosting an event to celebrate the new student housing building near Drexel University’s campus in fall 2016. The first of three “Take-Over” events is at Distrito starting at 6 p.m. Enjoy fine wine and cocktails with your entry when you RSVP!
  • The Academy of Vocal Arts has an opera show Werther at the Helen Corning Warden Theater! Listen to the incredible songs tonight or Saturday at 7:30 p.m. You will not believe the talent!

Friday, February 26

Saturday, February 27

  • We couldn’t help but put this on our list of must-go to events this week! Omari Hardwick, from STARZ’s Power will be attending the Lawnside Education Foundation. Inc.’s 6th annual dinner dance! Be sure to get your tickets to attend the event and donate to an amazing education foundation for children.

 

Sunday, February 28

  • It’s Hollywood’s biggest night: The Academy Awards! The Philadelphia Film Society is hosting an annual Oscar Night Party at the Prince Theater where guests can watch the ceremony on the big screen with champagne, games, and live entertainment! Partial proceeds from the event will benefit the AIDS Fund. Tickets can be purchased here!
  • There will be a fundraiser to support and benefit the Philly St. Patty’s Day parade at the 7C Lounge at FOP Lodge #5. Bring the kids and family to enjoy a buffet, drinks, door prizes, and chances for gifts!
