New year, same amazing music scene! Like every month, Philadelphia has some of the best artists in the music industry coming in January. From rap, to country, to rock, Philly PR Girl has all of your must-see concerts this month!
Owlchella: Fetty Wap, French Montana, Logic, and Wale
Say, “Hey, what’s up? Hello!” to Fetty and Wap and more when they hit the stage at the Liacouras Center on January 14. French Montana, Logic, and Wale will also be staling the show at Temple University at 8 p.m. Don’t worry — even though Owlchella is happening at Temple, tickets are open to the general public.
Chris Young
One of the hottest country artists around is making his way to our hot city. Chris Young will be performing at the Electric Factory on Friday, January 22. Listen to his multiple number one singles after the must-see Cassadee Pope performs her break-up anthem “Wastin’ All These Tears On You” as Young’s opening act. Wear your boots and cowboy hats to the 8:30 p.m. show!
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
We’ve all jammed out to “Thrift Shop” in the car – now enjoy it live during An Evening with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at the Tower Theater January 24. The show is general admission, so you can hear their new duet “Downtown” from the front row if you get in early enough. The doors open at 7 p.m.
Breaking Benjamin
The rock band Breaking Benjamin is coming to their home state (they’re from Wilkes-Barre) to perform an unplugged show at the Fillmore. Hear your favorites like “Breath” and Diary of Jane” like never before when the band performs the entire setlist acoustically on January 29 at 8 p.m.
Muse
The Grammy-winning alternative rock band is bringing their energetic live performance to Philly on January 31. Hear songs from all seven albums during the Drones World Tour featuring X Ambassadors as the special guest. Muse is known for their energetic live shows, so don’t miss the fun at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:30 p.m.
