Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet: Philly PR Girl’s Favorites

Award season 2016 has officially kicked off with the Golden Globes, and all of us at Philly PR Girl could not be more excited. The shows are always fun to watch, of course, but what is better than the red carpet? Nothing.

Here are some of Philly PR Girl’s favorite looks from the Golden Globes 2016!

When we asked everyone to choose their top ensemble, PR Coordinator Kiera Stach immediately called dibs on Jenna Dewan-Tatum. With a classy plunging neckline and long skater-style dress, she slayed in this midnight blue Zuhair Murad Couture ensemble that matched her beautiful eyes perfectly.

Taraji P. Henson

Stacey Gray, PR Coordinator, chose Taraji P. Henson because – well, duh. Her pose on the carpet alone should win a Golden Globe. Even with a pure white, elegant dress, she still managed to look fierce, like always.

Jennifer Lopez

Owner Kate Marlys didn’t even hesitate to scream “J. Lo!” when discussing our favorite looks of the night. Lopez stunned in a yellow gown, with a slit down her leg and a cape over her shoulders. Adding the red lip and nails finished the fabulous look. We all can just agree that she will own Hollywood fashion forever.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Philly PR Girl’s PR Manager, Brandon Szegar, decided Leonardo DiCaprio was the best dressed. Leo rocked a sleek black suit with a simple, black bowtie, which makes sense why Brandon chose him as his favorite. Brandon owns tons of bowties himself!

Viola Davis

Christian Waites, our Social Media Coordinator, loved Viola Davis’ look for the Golden Globes this year. The sparkling gown had an ombre-like style on the dress, and Davis looked flawless with the V-neck covered in sheer. Lets just say, she could definitely “get away with murder” if she’s wearing this Marchesa gown.

Cate Blanchett

Associate Director, Joanie Sweeney, chose Cate Blanchett’s gorgeous vintage gown as her favorite look. This blush pink Givenchy dress has vintage written all over it. The style is something we’ve never seen before, but is absolutely gorgeous for Cate. With a dress like this, we can’t wait to see what she wears for the rest of award show season!

Jennifer Lawrence

Marketing Coordinator, Marissa Giletto, is obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence’s sophisticated look. It screams old Hollywood, but with the cut out sides, it yells modern and young, yet still mature. We’re not even going to get started on the necklace because we could go on for days! All hail, J. Law!

Sylvester Stallone

Philly PR Girl’s ultimate favorite we all agreed on was, without a doubt, Sylvester Stallone! He won a Golden Globe for his role in the Philadelphia-based film, Creed, but he also won best-looking family in our book. The whole crew looked incredible as they supported the man, the myth, the legend: Rocky.
