Monday, December 14

  • Tonight is Movie Monday at the Trocadero Theater! Today’s flick? One of Marvel’s newest films, Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd! The doors open at 6:30 p.m., the showing is at 8 p.m. Grab a beer upon arrival, because this event is 21+.
  • Perch Pub’s Annual Twelve Beers of Christmas started on December 12, and continues until the 23rd. Try different beers and great specials for the rest of the time it is running! All proceeds benefit Philabundance.

Tuesday, December 15

  • The Electric Factory has an extra special guest coming, who may be cooler than Santa himself. Get your tickets for an Evening with  Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience. Jason is the son of the late John Bonham, the drummer for Led Zeppelin. Take a trip through time and hear some of your favorite Zepplin tracks!
  • ‘Tis the season to celebrate.  The IBA and its Board of Directors are excited to announce this year’s annual holiday celebration – THE event to meet and be merry with business owners, professionals, corporate and community partners and toast Greater Philadelphia’s vibrant and successful LGBT business community.  For tickets and more information click here.

Wednesday, December 16

  • Get ready for a Johnny Swim Christmas! Taking place at the Union Transfer, this dynamic duo of Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano Ramirez are considered “21st century troubadours.” Come check out their special Christmas show – it starts at 8:30 p.m.
  • Holidays aren’t the holidays without ugly sweaters! Come one, come all to this ugly sweater party! From 5 to 9 p.m., check out the Release of Bourbon Aged Winter Warmer, happening in conjunction with Chestnut Hill’s Stag and Doe nights at the Iron Hill Brewery in Chestnut Hill.

Thursday, December 17

  • Rudolph is in town! The 18th Annual Reindeer Romp is taking place at 12 different Fairmount area bars. The festive bar crawl begins at 6 p.m. For a full list of participating bars, check it out here.
  • The Flyers are taking on the Vancouver Canucks at the Wells Fargo Center! The game starts at 7 p.m., and tickets range from $52 to $269.
  • Have you heard of English band, The Struts? These popular glamour rockstars give classic rock a brand new twist. They first appeared on Jimmy Kimmel over the summer and have since been named a “Band on the Verge” by USA Today! They’re coming to Philadelphia to perform at the Theater of the Living Arts. Friday, December 18

  • Cancer is ugly, so let’s raise some money to kill this ugly disease! City Tap House Logan Square is hosting the CANCER IS UGLY: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Ugly Sweater Party, running from 7 to 10 p.m. For a $50 donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, participants will have access to holiday beers and cocktails, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, entrance to a raffle for holiday baskets of cheer.  
  • Local musician Jessi Teich is celebrating the vinyl release for her debut album,Twisted Soul, this Friday, December 18 at the Painted Bride Art Center.  General admission is $25 but you can upgrade to VIP which includes a poster and private meet-and-greet with Jessi. Saturday, December 19

  • Hey, Philly. Santa isn’t the only one coming to town. The national Ugly Sweater Christmas Run is coming! There are plenty of opportunities to break out our worst Christmas sweaters, so why not use them as much as you can? The Ugly Sweater Run benefits Save the Children, a trusted organization which invests in childhood – every day, in times of crisis and for our future.This is a 5k taking place in Fairmount Park, and the race starts at 8 a.m.

Sunday, December 20

  • The Cardinals take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Lincoln Financial Field at 8:30 p.m. Come on Philly, our birds need ya! Get tickets now.
