Get Ready To Taste French Wines with Chloe Johnston and Bret Barrett

At the end of a long workday, we could all use a glass wine. (Okay, maybe two.) So when there’s a wine tasting being held in the city, we’re all in.1609900_1087538241258454_8139588421671197083_n

And this is where Chloe Johnston* enters the scene. Founder and President of Chloe Johnston Experiences, her unique company provides world travelers a way to fall in love with the cities Johnston has been traveling to all her life. On her inimitable half and full-day tours, Johnston takes guests on innovative excursions to the most exclusive and unique shopping sites in the world: Paris and New York.

Johnston’s heart may be in Paris, but when at home in Devon, PA, she does her best to bring the Parisian lifestyle and culture to the City of Brotherly Love.

On Thursday, November 12, Johnston will partner up with Sommelier Bret Barrett to host “Regions of France Wine Tasting” at the Union League from 6 – 8 p.m. With his years of experience as a Senior Wine Advisor at Wine Spectator, Barrett will lead the tasting of wines in France; from The Rhone Valley to Champagne, and everywhere in between.

“Wine is my love,” said Barrett. “And the greatest thing about living in beautiful wine country is sharing my love for wine and everything wine country has to offer.”

Wine won’t be the only thing on the menu, as cheeses from France will also be served at the event, and a prize will be awarded at the end of the night! If you are interested in sharing Chloe’s and Bret’s love for wine by attending the “Regions of France Wine Tasting” event, please be advised of the Union League’s Dress Code. Tickets for the event are $55, and can be purchased here today and tomorrow only. They will not be available for sale at the door.
