Upcoming Concerts in Philadelphia: September Edition

September’s a big month for our city.  The most famous person in the world is blessing the Benjamin Franklin Parkway: Beyoncé. Oh, and the Pope. No big deal. But if Beyoncé and The Pope aren’t enough to keep you busy this month, there are many other artists coming to Philly!

Did you know Death Cab for Cutie has been touring for over 20 years?! With no plans of slowing down, the band behind such hits as “Soul Meets Boy” and “I Will Follow You Into The Dark” will hit the Theater of the Living Arts stage on September 6.

Country’s hottest singer – and we mean that both literately and figuratively – is bringing his tour to the Susquehanna Bank Center for two days on September 11 and 12. Dustin Lynch and Randy Houser will be joining Luke, so if you’re a country fan, this is guaranteed to be your kind of night!

Twenty One Pilots

This rocking music duo is heading to Festival Pier with Echosmith on September 11. By watching the crowd go crazy for them at this year’s VMA’s, one can only imagine how nuts the sold out show at Wells Fargo Center will be!

Kelly Clarkson

America fell in love with Kelly over 10 years ago on a little show called American Idol, and our love for her today is just as strong as ever. Kelly will be performing her greatest hits along with some awesome covers when she comes to Susquehanna Bank Center on September 20.

Twenty One Pilot’s counterpart on the VMA Stage will be solo at Festival Pier on September 23. Even if you’re unfamiliar with his songs, you definitely heard him featured on Selena Gomez’ “Good For You” and Sam Smith’s “I’m Not The Only One” – and you probably rap along with him.

The Queen of Pop will be gracing us with her presence at the Wells Fargo Center on September 24. All hail.
