Monday, August 3

  • Head over to Sister Cities Park for Story Art, the family-friendly event where kids can enjoy being read to outdoors and creating their own take-home craft. A new theme every week will keep kids excited to come back for more nature-inspired fun! Story Art is from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Mondays.

Tuesday, August 4

  • Enjoy a midday concert in John F. Collins Park every Tuesday and Thursday through September 24 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. Today’s Music in the Park concert features pianist Abdur Rasheed.
  • Every Tuesday at 6 p.m., get your sweat on at Sister Cities Park for Free Fitness Philly’s Pop Up Fitness class. Taught for free by licensed fitness trainers, this is a class you’ll want to turn into your weekly fitness habit.

Wednesday, August 5

  • Stock up on farm-fresh produce and other delicious healthy eats at the Dilworth Park Farmer’s Market. The market is Wednesdays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., and go early to get the best pick of the farm-to-city goodness.
  • The next installment of the P.M. @ P.M. Summer Nights Concert Series at the Penn Museum features the West Philadelphia Orchestra, made up of Philly’s finest and wildest musicians. The concert is from 5 – 8 p.m., and the $10 admission covers museum admission as well.
  • Center City Sips is still going strong! Don’t miss out on the $5 cocktails, $4 wine, $3 beer and half priced appetizers every Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. through September 2. Check out the participating bars and restaurants here.
  • Experience the ultimate date night at the Dancing & Movies series, courtesy of the Society Hill Dance Academy at Headhouse Square. Tonight’s installment features the waltz at 7 p.m., and E.T. screening at 8 p.m.

Thursday, August 6

  • Grab the kids for fun-filled science activities at Nature in the Park, every other Tuesday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Sister Cities Park. Presented by the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, its the perfect event for your budding young scientist.
  • It’s Pirate Weekend at the Independence Seaport Museum’s Tall Ships Tavern! Through Sunday, August 9, you can participate in a scavenger hunt and pirate quizzo, and enjoy live entertainment and music by pirates.
  • Comedian Jamie Kennedy, who hails from Upper Darby, will be bringing the laughs to the Helium Comedy Club for special performances today through Sunday, August 9. To see showtimes and to purchase tickets, click here.
  • Philly’s favorite street food event is back – Night Market Philadelphia will be landing at 35th Street and Lancaster Avenue from 6 – 10 p.m. With dozens of food trucks and some great local bands slated to perform, it’s going to be the best Night Market yet.
  • It’s time once again for the best party of the year! The Best of Philly 2015 Soirée will celebrate this year’s Philadelphia Magazine Best of Philly winners at Dilworth Park, with award-winning food, summer cocktails, and dancing under the stars. Friday, August 7

  • Jerry Seinfeld is coming to the Borgata for a can’t-miss comedy experience! Tickets are going fast so get them while you can. The show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
  • The Mad Decent Block Party is back and better than ever, with an amazing lineup turning the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing into the biggest party of the summer. Check out the full lineup here and get tickets before they sell out!
  • Get ready for the most unique run you’ve ever done: The Brew Mile. Head to XFINITY Live! for the one-mile race that has you drinking a beer for every quarter mile. Have what it takes? Register here, and the doors open at 6 p.m.
  • Catch the next installment of the Awesome Fest free outdoor movie series at Liberty Lands Park in Northern Liberties. Tonight’s film is Sun Choke, and it begins at 9 p.m.

Saturday, August 8

  • Give a visit to Le Bok Fin, Philly’s first pop-up rooftop restaurant. Enjoy French-inspired cuisine and gorgeous city views today through September 13, and click here for their hours. Membership is required for access to this space, but membership cards are available at the door for free.

Sunday, August 9

  • The second Eagles open practice kicks off at 10 a.m. at Lincoln Financial Field, and members of the military can enjoy special fan experiences for this special Military Day edition of open practice. Click here for more information.
