Monday, June 15

  • Don’t miss this week’s installment of the Trocadero Theater’s Movie Monday series! This week features the 1994 film Leon: The Professional, starring Gary Oldman and Natalie Portman, and tickets are only $3 and go toward a drink or snack. This event is 21+, and doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the film begins at 8 p.m.

Tuesday, June 16

  • The iconic Bette Midler is coming to the Wells Fargo Center for her first major tour in over a decade! On Tuesday, June 16, watch the legendary performer and singer debut music from her new album, “It’s the Girls!” and more. Tickets can be purchased here, and doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.
  • Grammy-winning musician John Mellencamp brings his Plain Spoken Tour to the Merriam Theater for one night only. Those who purchase a ticket online or on the phone will receive a digital download code for John Mellencamp’s new album Plain Spoken! The show begins at 7:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
  • Grab blankets or chairs and settle in at Dilworth Park for the next film in the Pictures in the Park series, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. Free and open to the public, the film will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday, June 17

  • Join photographer and author Kathie Dacey at Nicole Miller at The Bellevue for the most fashionable book release you’ve ever seen. Shop the latest Nicole Miller Collection with personal stylists, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails, all while celebrating the release of Dacey’s first book! The event is from 4 – 8 p.m.
  • Celebrate the Sincerely Chosen live interview series one-year anniversary with the interview of Sincerely Syreeta herself! She won’t just host the show and conduct the community spotlight interview, but also be interviewed by the SS Team members, and even by you!   • Come watch the Phillies take on the Orioles! The game starts at 7:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park, and tickets can be purchased here.

Thursday, June 18

  • Head over to Franklin Square, Philly’s favorite play place in Historic Philadelphia for the evening festivities of JuneFestivus. From 4 – 8 p.m., enjoy a variety of food trucks, games, a beer garden presented by Frankford Hall, mini golf, and carousel rides! Admission for this event is free, but tickets are required for Philly Mini Golf and the Parx Liberty Carousel.
  • Night Market Philadelphia, Philly’s favorite street food festival, returns, this time to 13th and Callowhill Streets. From 6 – 10 p.m., enjoy live music and dance, the Underground Arts beer garden, local brews from Penn Distributors – and of course, try food from 70 different vendors. Invite your friends and come hungry!
  • Saison’s Greetings! Yards Brewing Company and the Spirit of Philadelphia come together for a cruise you won’t forget. Enjoy local Philly flavor favorites, an open Beer Bar with Yards products, a special Brews Cruise buffet, and WMMR’s Jacky Bam Bam will keep you dancing all night long! Boarding time is 6:30 p.m., the cruise is from 7 – 9:30 p.m., and tickets are $44.90 for all adults 21 or older with a valid ED.

Friday, June 19

  • Support the Phillies as they take on the Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park on 1960s Retro Night! The game begins at 7:05 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
  • Make sure you see Tom Stoppard’s immensely popular dark comedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead before its last showing at the Wilma Theater on Saturday, June 20! Directed by Blanka Zizka, you won’t want to miss this play that tells the tale of Shakespeare’s Hamlet through the eyes of two very different characters. The play runs 2 hours and 30 minutes, and tickets can be purchased here.

Saturday, June 20

  • Head out to Manayunk for the 26th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival! From 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., and 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday, peruse the largest outdoor, juried arts festival in the tri-state area with nearly 200,000 collectors, buyers, and designers visiting Main Street from across the country. The rain-or-shine festival is free to the public and directions to the festival can be found here.
  • Love being active, but don’t like doing it on your own? Meet at the Philadelphia Art Museum steps at 8:45 a.m. to meet City Fit Girls for their first ever bike ride! Leaving at 9 a.m., the bike ride will go along Kelly Drive to the East Falls Bridge and up MLK Drive, and will finish at a local café for coffee and snacks. Don’t forget your helmet, bike, and water! This event is free and open to all.
  • Eagles outside linebacker Connor Barwin will host his 2nd Annual Make the World Better Foundation benefit concert at Union Transfer. Featuring a barbecue and performances by Mac DeMarco, the Suffers, and Marian Hill, all proceeds will go towards the revitalization of Smith Playground in South Philadelphia. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at Union Transfer, and tickets range from $200 – $300.

Sunday, June 21

  • Don’t miss the last showings of Company at the Bucks County Playhouse, a hilarious tale about the trials and tribulations of love and settling down starring American Idol breakout star Justin Guarini! The last showing is at 2 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
