Goal Getter: Apps to Increase Productivity

Here at Philly PR Girl, we know a thing or two about time management and multitasking. From client meetings to client events, it can be overwhelming getting everything done in one day. Luckily, technology has advanced right along with our schedules and we have a few phone apps to share with you in order to increase your productivity.

Timeful timeful

If the root of your issue is simply finding the time to check things off your to-do list, then this is the app for you. Timeful not only
allows users to input previously scheduled tasks, but it also has an algorithm that will make suggestions for when you can fit other tasks into your day. The app will literally find the time for you! It also has the capability to sync your current calendars from Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange and more! You know, just to make life even easier.

asana Asana

Also known as “Teamwork Without Email,” this is the perfect app for projects involving multiple people. As opposed to communicating through one platform and working in another, Asana has combined the two, allowing team members to both correspond with one another and work on the project in the same space. It may not make group work more fun, but it can definitely make it more efficient.

Evernoteevernote

An old favorite, Evernote has definitely stood the test of time. With the ability to sync notes across several devices, the app now also allows users to chat with one another to make it easier to work with collaborators. Whether you simply need to jot down your thoughts or save that great link you found, Evernote has you covered.

mailbox Mailbox

While the app itself isn’t new, it just recently became available to Android users which is pretty exciting news. Mailbox has set out to streamline the traditional inbox and make it easier to navigate through more quickly. The best part about the app, especially for those unable to tear themselves away from their phones, is the snooze feature. It doesn’t get rid of any emails, rather it puts it back in your inbox until a time of your choosing. How’s that for unplugging?

Clearclear

Clear simplifies a typically cluttered to-do list (or post-its scattered throughout your bag) into an organized dream. You can set personal reminders for what’s important, create multiple lists for different sets of tasks and even personalize the theme of each one! With the ability to easily drag and rearrange your projects, Clear can change just as quickly as your workday can.

If one your resolutions for 2015 was to get more organized or be more productive, these apps can definitely put you in the right direction and get your year started on a good note (pun intended).
