Monday, December 15th

  • The Nordic Economic Model – Successes, Challenges and the Future: Starting at 1:30pm, and located at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, this GIC program will bring together leaders from the corporate sector, government, and academia to discuss the Nordic model’s performance during the recent economic crisis.   • Monday Night Quizzo: Grab your friends at 9pm for some fun quizzo time at Strangelove’s! There will be prizes for the winning quizzo contestants! For more info, click here! 

Tuesday, December 16th

  • Frosty The Snowman: Come see this holiday musical with the whole family, at Broadway Theatre of Pitman! Performances start on December 13th, and continue on until the 21st! To grab your tickets, and to learn more click here! 
  • Cupcake Decorating Happy Hour With Boozy Buttercream: Join the Boozy Buttercream team for an evening full of cocktails and cupcake decoration! This class will be held at Pennsylvania 6 on S 12th Street, at starts at 7pm. Participants will learn about baking procedures, and enjoy some drinks while doing so! Wednesday, December 17th

  • The Holiday Social: A Charitable Fashion Show (6-8pm) – This event is a clothing drive/fashion show that will give less-fortunate children the opportunity to receive new clothing, but most importantly feel special while walking down the “runway.”
  • Stand-Up Comedy Night: Head over to The Eagle Theatre for some laughter, and wine! Comedian Kevin Hurley and other local comedians will take the stage, and are sure to give you a good laugh! For more info, click here. 
  • Yoga With Elmo: Come to the Franklin Institute to participate as a certified Yoga instructor leads a kid-friendly yoga session together with our favorite Sesame Street Muppet, Elmo! Thursday, December 18th

  • Joe H Karaoke Thursday: Come sing aloud and join in on the fun, every Thursday night at Bierstube in Old City starting at 9pm. To learn more, click here!

Friday, December 19th

Saturday, December 20th

  • Christmas Spectacular: Celebrated conductor David Charles Abell returns with vocalist Hugh Panaro for a cheerful performance for the holiday season! Come be swept away by the beautiful music, and holiday cheer, at the Kimmel Center from 3-5pm.
  • Cancer is Ugly! Sweater Party: Bust out your ugliest holiday sweaters, and participate in the 4th annual Cancer is Ugly Sweater Party at City Tap House in University City from 7-10pm. Sunday, December 21st
