Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens was packed with a fabulous crowd Thursday night as the Philly PR Girl team hosted our End of Summer Bash networking event to support a great cause and celebrate the end of a successful summer. All proceeds from the event went to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as guests were encouraged to donate $10 at the door and purchase raffle tickets throughout the night for awesome package giveaways. Many guests, of course, went above and beyond with their generosity, which resulted in raising over $800 for the MS Society!
Philly PR Girl has developed a very strong relationship with the MS Society. This year, Kate, Founder of Philly PR Girl, became a member of the MS Leaders Circle as well as a 2014 Leaders Circle honoree. When it came to figuring out who to collaborate with for this End of Summer Bash, it was not a difficult decision to make for Kate. The Bravo Jazz Band provided the musical entertainment for the night, filling the Magic Gardens with smooth tunes. A delicious custom cocktail list was created by 13th Street Cocktail Company, who also poured libations throughout the night. There was also a photo booth from which friends and colleagues could capture and share fun pictures by donating a dollar to the MS Society. Guests also snacked on a variety of treats, from delicious sandwiches to sweet treats and everything in between!
The main reason Philly PR Girl has developed into the company it is today is because of networking events. Kate has made and developed many business connections and friendships while attending other networking events and from her own events. Continuing these types of events is something very important to Kate, as it is something she not only loves to do, but also something she finds extremely beneficial to her brand.
The party did not end at Magic Gardens, as attendees made their way over to The Cambridge on South Street to keep the drinks and conversations flowing!
