Monday, July 28th

  • Roger Daltrey (from The Who) and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts come to Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for an exclusive concert to support Teen Cancer America & The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.   For tickets and more info, click here!
  • Open Eagles practice  at Lincoln Financial Field!  This is a free event, but you must reserve your spot in advance.  Go birds! Also, before your after practice stop by the Welcome Back Birds BBQ at Xfinity Live! from 11am to 3pm.

Tuesday, July 29th

  • The hit Broadway show “The Book of Mormon” starts its run at the Kimmel Center.  The show will run through September 14th but shows are already selling out.  The New York Times calls it “the best musical of this century.”  Get your tickets now!

Wednesday, July 30th 

  • Beers, Boats, and Fun at the Drink Philly Summer Boat Party!  They are teaming up with the Spirit of Philadelphia for the first ever Drink Philly booze cruise.  For more info and tickets click here.
  • Winner of 10 Academy Awards® including Best Picture, West Side Story, comes to life on a huge screen with Leonard Bernstein’s electrifying score played live by The Philadelphia Orchestra at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts.

Thursday, July 31st

  • Calling all Star Trek fans!  Boldly go where no man has gone before. Friday, August 1st

  • First Friday at Pinot Boutique – Stop by to drink wine and listen to live jazz music by Frank Ewing and Bravo Jazz!
  • Jason Aldean takes over Citizens Bank Park!  At 7pm Jason, along with Tyler Farr and Florida Georgia Line, take over South Philly as the first-ever country act to play at the ballpark.
  • Sleepover Party Can’t Hardly Wait) – First Fridays are the time for Philly’s friendliest dance party with another throwback movie-theme and NO COVER. Dress based on the flick, wear pajamas or whatever… just be prepared to have fun!

Saturday, August 2nd

  • Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Legend returns home to Philadelphia with his All Of Me Tour.   He performs live at the Mann, doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm!
  • Traveling across the country, the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Festival makes its stop in the City of Brotherly Love for its Mid-Atlantic edition! From noon to 5pm, taste 80+ craft beers and enjoy live music at Penn Treaty Park. Proceeds from this festival will benefit the Brewers of Pennsylvania to keep craft brewing alive and well today and in the future.
  • Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival at the Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pa.  Performers by Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Asking Alexandria, Trivium, and others.

Sunday, August 3rd

  • Open Eagles practice at the Linc – It’s free and open to public but don’t forget to reserve your spot online! 
  • Celebrate the 3rd Annual Reggae in the Park – Philly’s Premiere Summer Reggae Festival at the Mann featuring performances by Matisyahu, Steel Pulse, Mavado, Konshens, Morgan Heritage, The Expendables, Inner Circle & many more. Live DJ sets on the main plaza as well as arts & crafts vendors, Caribbean & global cuisine, and more at the top of the hill – all in the heart of Fairmount Park!
  • The 6th Annual 2nd Street Festival will be held  from noon until 10 p.m.  between North 2nd between Germantown and Green Streets in Northern Liberties and filling the entire street with workshops, art, food, beer gardens, and other merchandise vendors.  This year they have four music & event stages, all programmed for us by the Philadelphia Folksong Society.
