Monday, July 21st

  • University City Dining Days – Dining Days returns with the 3 courses 3 prices menu promotion. The participating restaurants offer a pre-fixe three-course dinner special for $15, $25 or $35.  Experience craft beer bars, celebrity chef restaurants, BYOB, and international foods every night  at these prices from July 17th-27th. Tuesday, July 22nd

  • Join Philadelphia Magazine and Fine Wine and Good Spirits for the first ever Wine and Food Festival UNCORKED. This exciting event will feature all that the Philadelphia Wine and Food Festival has to offer. The event provides a night full of over 120 wines, music spinning from a local DJ, free appetizers and snacks, and a chance to network with other professionals.
  • Mazeppa Productions’ Xanadu at Christ Church Neighborhood House – Xanadu is a hilarious, award-winning musical comedy adventure about following your dreams. Xanadu follows Kira, a beautiful, magical Greek muse, who is sent on a quest from the heavens to inspire a young artist to achieve his greatest dream – to build a roller disco! This is a hilarious show you will not want to miss, don’t forget your big hair and legwarmers!

Wednesday, July 23rd

  • The Philadelphia Orchestra and Classical Mystery Tour is a beautiful tribute to the Beatles. This production presents more than two dozen Beatles songs performed as they were originally recorded, transcribed note-for-note, with original orchestrations played by the Orchestra. we all can get by with a little help with our friends so bring yours to this!  Tickets can be bought here
Thursday, July 24th
  • Pairings on the Parkway – Every Thursday this summer , come to Sister Cities Park, from 5-8PM, for BYO Thursdays with live music from 5:30-7:30 pm. Take a seat at one of the tables inside or outside the cafe or bring a blanket and find a favorite spot under a tree or on the grass. Logan Square Café will feature a special summer grilling menu to complement the wine theme. Pairings is a FREE event.
  • Stroller Strides-Stroller Strides is a stroller-based fitness program designed for moms with little ones. Each 60-minute, total body workout incorporates power walking/running, strength, toning, songs and activities. Sister Cities Park and Stroller Strides is a perfect match; fit for mom and fun for baby afterwards with playdates at the fountain/park.
  • Music in the Park –  It’s time again to enjoy live music every  Thursday from Noon to 1:30  in John F. Collins park plays host to several lunchtime concerts every week. This week Umar Raheem will be performing on the saxophone.

Friday, July 25th

  • Pixar in Concert –  .From the Toy Story trilogy to Finding Nemo, Wall-E and UP, Pixar has given audiences of all ages some of the most touching and memorable moments in movie history. Now, together, with visually stunning film clips from all 14 Pixar hits, you can enjoy these remarkable scores performed as only The Philadelphia Orchestra can.
  • The Under the Influence of Music Tour featuring Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Sage the Gemini, Iamsu!, Mack Wilds, DJ Drama takes place at Susquehanna Bank Center. This is a show full of young great hip hop artists  you will not want to miss!

Saturday, July 26th

  •  Rock Out on the River – Join us and Dave and Busters on the river and rock out! This week Bong Hits for Jesus, The Jawn, Still Moon, Universal Funk Order, Midnight Mosaic, and  Aquatic Ape Theory hit the stage for $10 and music starts at 6pm!
  • Pinot Boutique Sunset Wine Cruises – Beyond Chianti, Interesting Italian Wines. The amour for Italian wines is abundant in the City of Brotherly Love; we just can’t seem to get our fill of Chianti and Super Tuscans! But there are many interesting Italian grapes that you probably haven’t discovered that can be very wallet-friendly. Tickets can be found here.
  • Panel Discussion w/ “CORNBREAD” McCRAY & ISAIAH ZAGAR – From  7-9pm Paperclips215, Philadelphia’s current source for the arts scene, moderates a panel with the artists about the merits of public art.

Sunday, July 27th

  • Car Show & Street Festival– The 9th Annual Car Show & Street Festival showcases 140+ antique, show, muscle and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles lined up between Broad and Dickinson Streets.
