The Orange County, CA brand carries a series of high-performance sport and active-lifestyle accessories and apparel. The store includes an extensive collection of eyewear (mens, womens, childrens), board shorts, cool t-shirts, fresh running gear, heavy duty backpacks, and much more.
This particular location at the King of Prussia Mall features one of Oakley’s first optical service centers, where a registered optician records your information with some of the most advanced and innovative equipment in eyewear technology. Forget old school pupilometers seen in doctors’ offices; Oakley uses a high-tech measuring tool that sends your information to an iPad, read by the team in California. In two weeks’ time, a pair of personally customized prescription glasses arrives for you.
Everyone’s eyeglass prescription is different, however Oakley’s unique customization boasts a build-your-own bar to personalize your own version of their popular sunglasses. User-friendly tablets let customers choose the frame styles, color, “O” logo color, and lens type. Submit your masterpiece, and then the pair is made right in-store for you.
The quality of Oakley’s products are backed by tons of research and development. Features in the small details show that this brand is focused on providing the best experience for their consumers. For instance, active-style sunglasses provide nose grips that get stickier when wet – perfect for intense sports or lounging by the pool. They also offer Asian Fit sunglasses with a heightened nosepiece for customers with lower nose bridges.
