Monday, May 5th – Happy Cinco de Mayo!

  • ABC’s Nashvile in Concert at the Tower Theater – This inaugural concert tour featuring songs and stars from ABC’s drama, “Nashville,” will include performances by Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio and Chris Carmack.
  • Toronto Blue Jays at Philadelphia Phillies – Enjoy Cindo de Mayo in South Philly with the Phils!

Tuesday, May 6th

  • Jack Johnson with Amos Lee at the Mann Music Center – We are so excited that the weather is nice and we can go to one of our favorite music venues again!

Wednesday, May 7th

  • Zakk Wylde & Black Label Society at the Electric Factory – Legendary rocker is sure to put on a good show at the Factory, per usual!
  • “From Rio to Brotherly Love” Art Exhibit at the International House of Philadelphia – is a solo photography exhibit by Daniel Gafanhoto. The exhibit features a tale of two cities, Philadelphia, PA and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and how the cities interact with nature and people.
  • In need of a little hump day laugh?  Head over to Joe Conklin’s Comedy Night at Parx Casino with TV star Jimmie “J.J.” Walker.

Thursday, May 8th

  • 24 Hour Road Race: Hunter Hayes at the Troc performing live at 5am!  Country star, Hunter Hayes, attempts to break the Guinness World Records record for most concerts played in multiple cities in a 24 hour period.

  • Love Your Park is a FREE Mother’s Day event at Washington Ave Green, hosted by the Friends of Washington Ave Green and part of the Fairmount Park Conservancy’s Love Your Park Week. Come out from 11AM-1PM for an early afternoon full of crafts, family activities and lunch.
  • Philadelphia Wine + Food Festival at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum will highlight an all-new line up of upscale tastings in a festival environment. Sunday, May 11th – Happy Mother’s Day!

  • Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure – Raise awareness and honor breast cancer survivors on Mother’s Day during this annual 5K Run/ Walk and 1-Mile Fun Walk founded by Susan G. Komen and known for its pink-clad participants.
