Monday, June 24th

  • The Last Plot in Revenge – A world premiere, spaghetti western dinner theater show by Brat Productions playing through the 29th.
  • The School of Rock Philadelphia – Turn your kids away from 1D and onto the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and Nirvana when the School of Rock’s one week music camp delves into the legend of Dave Grohl.
  • Bruno Mars at the Wells Fargo Center

Tuesday, June 25th

  • Jimmy Buffett at the Susquehanna Bank Center – The legend comes to Philly after a successful weekend opening of AC’s Margaritaville.
  • Call for Models – The GPTMC is looking for individuals and families of all ages to model for a Philly-centric summer campaign. Open casting call will be held at Brauhaus Schmitz from 5 to 7 p.m., no experience required.
  • One Direction at the Wells Fargo Center

Wednesday, June 26th

  • Wicked Opening Night – Playing at the Academy of Music through Sunday, August 4. Tickets run from $40 to $175.
  • Philadelphia Independent Film Festival – For its 6th year, the PIFF runs through the end of the month with works by local and international filmmakers playing at the Franklin Institute, PAFA, Bryn Mawr Film Institute, National Constitution Center and Lit Ultrabar.

Thursday, June 27th

  • String Band Music Under the Stars – Every Thursday join the Mummers for a free outdoor string band performance at the Mummer Museum! BYO lawn chairs, and they’ll provide the soft pretzels, hot dogs and soda.
  • Philly on the Rocks – $25 for 20 samples being judged in Philly’s summer cocktail competition! Proceeds go towards Career Wardrobe, and the winner will be featured at SugarHouse Casino all season long.
  • Power 99’s Peace on the Streets – This party with a purpose brings national artists, community speakers and resources together to promote a peaceful summer, from 3-8 p.m. at Penn’s Landing.

Friday, June 28th

  • Stand-Up Comedy Weekend – Finalist of 93.3 WMMR’s “Last Comic Standing” Vince Valentine and Norm Klar, “the man who does to magic what Joan Rivers did for plastic surgery”, share the stage at Ambler’s Act II Playhouse on Friday and Saturday night.
  • Close Encounters with Carrie Rickey and M. Night Shyamalan – See M. Night talk about the stories behind his films and answer questions from the audience at the Kimmel Center at 7 pm.
  • Love, Loss and What I Wore – The Philadelphia Theatre Company performs this acclaimed collection of short stories by romance superstars Nora Ephron (Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally) and Delia Ephron (You’ve Got Mail, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), originally based on the novel by Ilene Beckerman. Starring actresses from The Descendants, Ugly Betty, The Office, and more.

Saturday, June 29th

  • Union vs. FC Dallas – Grab your tickets to see the Philadelphia Union team play for as little as $29.50 at PPL Park.
  • 40th Street Summer Series – In addition to jugglers, fire artists, face painting, and more, the Philadelphia Ukulele Orchestra takes full form with 12 ensemble members modernizing music from the 1920’s and ‘30s.
  • Private Lives/Public Spaces: Bringing Philadelphia’s LGBT History Out in the Open – The renewed Philadelphia History Museum at Atwater Kent presents the first mainstream solo exhibition focused on LGBT history in the city. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday; $10 admission, $6 for students and teens and $8 for seniors.

Sunday, June 30th

  • Cemetery, Serial Killers, Blood & Beer! – The bloodiest walking tour in historic Philadelphia transports you from famous graves to the Triumph Brewery all while spewing anecdotes about our city’s grizzly past.
  • The Multicultural Festival/Concert of Colors – Presented by the Caribbean Heritage Carnival Group in Fairmount Park. Find ticket prices and a full list of events here.
  • 92.5 XTU Anniversary Show – Get ready to tailgate… Philadelphia’s Country Station is celebrating 29 years with featured artist Brad Paisley at the Susquehanna Bank Center.
  • Hidden City Festival – It’s the final weekend of the tour which gives you access to some of Philadelphia’s most remarkable locations, not usually open to the public. One pass is good to access all of the festival’s locations, including Fort Mifflin and Mud Island, Globe Dye Works, Kelly Natatorium in Fairmount Park, and Athenaeum of Philadelphia.
