  • Singer of the ever popular song “Sweet Caroline” Neil Diamond performs live at The Wells Fargo Center
  • Renovation Dedication at Reading Terminal Market:  Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10am with Mayor Nutter.
  • Philly Rising: Beatles Edition – Open Mic at World Cafe Live just got alittle better by “theme nights.”  I love this idea!

Tuesday, June 19th

  • The Jam House at The Legendary JC Dobbs on South Street – Hip Hop/Rock.Funk Soul Showcase
  • Summer of Riesling:  A wine tasting event in the German Society of PA Garden (611 Spring Garden St)

Wednesday, June 20th

  • Kenny Chesney performs live in Wildwood, NJ on the Beach!  It’s being filmed by Jonathan Demme and streamed live online.  You must have tickets to see the show, the show starts at 8:30pm.
  • Free performance by City Hall at 5:30 presented by The Kimmel Center
  • Don’t Forget…Center City Sips ($5 cocktails, $4 wine, & $3 beer)
  • Music during your lunch hour, yes please!  Center City District present “Lunchtime Concert Series” at Cafe Cret (16th and The Parkway) – Performance by Minas.

Thursday, June 21st

  • Fete de la Musique Party & Street Fair at The Sofitel from 4-7pm.  Celebrate the Summer Solstice like then French, but in Philly! (see flyer below)

Friday, June 22nd

  • Moonlight Movies in Mt. Airy – Every Friday night you can enjoy a free movie screening.  This week’s movie is “The Princess Bride”
  • GRAND OPENING of Jolly’s American Beer Bar & Dueling Pianos!  (New location in University City)

Saturday, June 23rd

  • 40th Street Summer Concert Series:  Live Music at 40th & Walnut (see the flyer below)
  • Jim Gaffigan at the Borgata in AC
  • Metallica at Badar Field
  • Jill Scott’s Block Party at the Mann Music Center with special guest DJ Jazzy Jeff.
  • Zombie Beach Party at The Trocadero!
