What’s Hot in Philly this Spring

Walking home from work today looking at the beautiful trees & flowers… it hit me, its Spring!  So it got me thinking, what’s hot in Philadelphia this Spring.

Hottest Grand Opening – Xfinity Live – Opening soon in South Philly right across from the Stadiums a new entertainment complex.  Included in this complex is a neighborhood pub called Broad Street Bullies, a restaurant dedicated to the late Spectrum called The Spectrum Grille, a country TexMex Grill called PBR Bar and Grille, in the center of it all a Marketplace!

Hottest Art Exhibit – Van Gogh at the Art Museum – Running now through May 6th Van Gogh Up Close is getting great reviews.  Insider tip, go during an “off time” like a Tuesday afternoon and get the Audio Tour.

Hottest Show – Beyonce opening Atlantic City’s New Casino Revel Resorts – Ok so AC is not Philly, but for most of us it’s our home away from home!  Revel opens in April for a sneak preview but the real grand opening is Memorial Day Weekend when Beyonce performs at their 5,000 seat venue called Ovation Hall.  (So if anyone wants to sneak me in, I’m there #justsaying!)

Hottest Seat – Any seat in Citizen’s Bank Park Opening Day – The Phillies opening day is April 9th against the Marlins.  This city goes bananas (do people still say that?) when the Phillies season starts!  Spring = Phillies games!

Hottest Day Activity for a Music Lovin’ Jersey Girl – Bruce Springsteen Exhibit at the National Constitution Center –  What city has the idea to have a huge music exhibit in one of the nations top history museums, Philadelphia does!
